Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum Monica Garcia is shutting down haters who have criticized her age gap with boyfriend Braxton Knight.
Garcia, 41, took to Instagram on Tuesday, August 19, to share a video of herself and Knight, 31, as she listed other famous couples with notable age gaps.
“Eva Mendes, 51, and Ryan Gosling, 44. Kris Jenner, 69, and Corey Gamble, 44. Heidi Klum, 52, and Tom Kaulitz, 35. Sarah Paulson, 50, and Holland Taylor, 82. Just to name a few … ✌,” she wrote.
In the caption, the Bravolebrity defended her own 10-year age difference with her boyfriend.
“He’s 10 yrs younger than me and I bet we’re happier than most of you miserable a$$ haters in your close age relationships,” Garcia wrote. “GAWDAMN. Stay mad😎.”
Garcia also pointed out that her eldest daughter, Bri, is 20 years old, while Bri’s boyfriend is 23 years old.
“We GOOD over here,” she concluded. “Some of y’all really need a churro and Jesus and it shows!! #loveoneanother ✌🏽🫶🏽♥️.”
Many fans in the comments section supported Garcia by revealing their own age gaps in their relationships.
“Mine is 12 years younger and we’ve been together almost 17 years! I’m happy for you! You deserve all the good things!” one user commented, while another person wrote, “My husband is 10 years younger than me too! It just works!”

Garcia’s post comes four months after the couple welcomed their first child together (and Garcia’s fifth).
“Getting pregnant at 40 was never the plan, but just like the last couple years of my life, nothing has gone to plan,” she captioned an Instagram video documenting the baby’s birth in April. “Dear God & body … thank you. Thank you for holding this baby safely through 9 months and a delivery.”
Garcia added that she was “grateful” for their newborn and would miss “every hiccup and every kick felt.”
In addition to her child with Knight, the TV personality is a mom to daughters Bri, Jaidyn, 14, West, 8, and Kendall, 7, with ex-husband Mike Fowler, whom she was married to from 2009 to 2023.

After announcing her pregnancy in March, Garcia confirmed that she and Knight had been dating for nearly “one year.”
“I literally just found out. … I have not told one f***ing person except for my best friend,” she said on the “Viall Files” podcast of finding out about her pregnancy. “I should not be [pregnant]. I, literally, was on the urgent care floor bawling my eyes out. ‘Cause I’m like, ‘I’m 39, there’s no way.’ I’m on birth control. Like, by all means, I should not be pregnant. … It’s so scary, but it’s so crazy.”
As for how Knight reacted to the news, Garcia said, “We were both in shock, but he’s been incredible [and] so supportive.”
