What is GalaxyCon Des Moines?
GalaxyCon, a Florida-based company, was founded by Mike Broder in 2006. Created by fans, for fans, the company organizes pop-culture, anime and horror-themed events across the U.S., according to a news release.
Celebrated in often overlooked locations, celebrities and fans alike come together to relish in their favorite comics, TV shows, movies and more.
At GalaxyCon Des Moines 2025, fans can expect exclusive panels, Q&A sessions, autograph opportunities, cosplay competitions, meetups and more. There will also be Fantasy Super Cosplay Wresting all three days.
Some of the celebrity guests for the event include Karen Gillan of “Doctor Who,” and “Jumanji,” Giancarlo Esposito of “The Mandalorian,” and “Breaking Bad,” Emily Swallow of “Supernatural,” and many more.
When is GalaxyCon Des Moines?
GalaxyCon will be hosted at the Iowa Events Center on Friday, Sept. 12 through Sunday, Sept. 14.
