Matthew McConaughey (True Detective) and Cole Hauser (Yellowstone) are making it a family affair on Netflix.

The actors will play brothers in a new series from True Detective creator Nic Pizzolatto, according to The Hollywood Reporter, which adds that Netflix won the project in a fierce bidding war against Apple TV+ and Prime Video.

More from TVLine

Specific details about the series, including its title, are being kept under wraps. But considering it hails from Skydance Sports, it’s being speculated that the show will have some sort of sports angle.

* Four more actors have joined the cast of Fox’s three-part limited series The Faithful, a Biblical drama based on the Book of Genesis, Deadline reports. Alexa Davalos (FBI: Most Wanted) will lead the second installment as Rebekah, with Tom Mison (Sleepy Hollow) as her husband Isaac, Tom Payne (The Walking Dead) as their son Jacob, and Ben Robson (Animal Kingdom) as their son Esau. The three-part event will air across three consecutive Sundays, beginning March 22.

* Singer Hayes Warner has joined the cast of FX’s upcoming Ryan Murphy drama The Shards as a series regular, Deadline reports.
