Jay Cutler will be serving time in jail for his 2024 arrest after he cut a deal with prosecutors and pleaded guilty to one count of misdemeanor DUI.
The former NFL star was sentenced to four days in jail, and he must serve the time before the end of next month, according to a report from TMZ published on Tuesday, August 26. Along with his time behind bars, Cutler was ordered to pay a $350 fine and will be under supervised probation for one year. He was also required to take a DUI safety class and his license in the state of Tennessee was revoked for a year.

In October 2024, Cutler was arrested in Franklin, Tennessee, after officers were called to the scene of a collision. Authorities discovered Cutler behind the wheel and “noticed a strong odor of alcohol on him,” according to a report from People.
“Cutler was also slurring his words and had blood shot eyes,” the outlet reported. “Cutler refused field sobriety tests and was taken to a local hospital where a blood sample was obtained through a blood search warrant.”
Upon inspection of the vehicle, authorities discovered “two firearms in his vehicle, including a loaded pistol” inside.
He was taken into custody that night and then later released on a $5,000 bond.
