After enjoying every moment of the The Naked Gun press tour — from the flirting, to them gushing about each other in interviews, to their coy refusal to confirm the rumours — there’s sad news for romantics like me today. According to TMZ, anonymous sources with “direct knowledge” of Anderson and Neeson’s relationship have confirmed that the whole thing was nothing more than a PR stunt for the movie.
And, look, I can’t say I’m surprised. But honestly? I’m taking this one personally.

I’ll be the first to admit that I was absolutely here for this romance. The whole thing felt like a warm hug to me, and I know I wasn’t the only one.
