Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are winding down summer with a lakeside getaway following their Bachelor and Bachelorette celebrations.
On September 1, Gomez, 33, posted photos of herself and Blanco, 37, relaxing with family and friends. “lake life,” she captioned the series of images on Instagram.
The photos showed the couple enjoying time together on a dock, in a boat, and spending time with loved ones. The relaxing trip comes shortly after the pair marked another milestone in their engagement by celebrating their bachelor and bachelorette parties.
Blanco celebrated his bachelor party in Las Vegas with friends. He posted photos from Resorts World, which included dinners with views of the city skyline, spa visits, and caviar. “I’ll never forget this weekend,” he wrote in one update.
Meanwhile, Gomez hosted her bachelorette party in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. She wore white bridal-inspired outfits during the trip, including a backless minidress and a veil embroidered with “bride to be.” She also posed with balloons spelling out “Mrs. Levin,” referencing Blanco’s full name, Benjamin Levin. Gomez and her friends enjoyed time on the beach and coordinated in matching sweatsuits.
“We got engaged and then we were filming music videos for our album, then it’s holidays, then right after the holidays we had to start all the promo for our stuff, do that. Then she left to film her show Only Murders [in the Building] and then I met her then we hung out for a week and then right after that it’s promo and then I’m writing another book so then I had to write a book and then she came back for one day here and then it was my birthday and you know.”
Despite the lack of a wedding timeline, both Gomez and Blanco say they are looking forward to their future together. Blanco said that while they have been “working on so many things that we hadn’t even had time to get into it,” they are still “so excited.”
Their personal and professional lives continue to overlap. In the months after their engagement, they released their joint album I Said I Love You First.
