Here comes the bridal show

In its 30th year, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Wedding Show, 12:30-4 p.m. Sunday at the Statehouse Convention Center, Markham and Main streets, Little Rock, will include more than 50 exhibitors — florists, entertainers, photographers and fashion vendors — to help engaged couples plan their weddings from start to finish.

“This year’s show will feature an onstage experience where engaged couples can step into a magazine cover-worthy scene to take photos together,” says Democrat-Gazette events director Amanda Copley. “Engaged couples can find education, planning services and a chance to learn about the local talent we have in the Arkansas wedding pro community.”

The show will also include a new Planner Panel expert session and an exclusive question-and-answer period on the latest in wedding-photography trends. There will be fashion shows and prize drawings throughout the day; one couple will win the Ultimate Giveaway, valued at more than $5,000.

Attendees will receive a 2025 Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Wedding Planner with photographs, editorials, checklists for couples and a listing of local wedding-industry businesses, and a copy of 2025 Real Weddings magazine.

Sponsors include Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort, Central Arkansas Entertainment and Dillard’s. Tickets are $10, $35 for limited VIP (which includes early entry into the show, a T-shirt, a tote bag with swag from sponsors, reserved seating for the fashion shows and access to VIP-only prizes). Call (501) 378-3807 or visit arkansasbridalcommunity.com.
