How to handle gossip in the workplace. Gossipers can create a negative environment, and it’s important to stop them. Toxic co-workers can ruin the workplace.

When someone comes to gossip to you about another person, don’t tolerate it.
If you listen, you become a gossiper too.
Instead, deflect the gossiping.
Say something positive about the person being gossiped about.
For example, say, “Well, such and such is a wonderful person with a lot of good qualities.”
This way, you can help create a more positive and supportive workplace.
