Hailey Bieber is Justin’s biggest fan. The Rhode Beauty founder supported the release of her husband’s new surprise album, Swag II, by sharing which songs she was listening to on her Instagram Story this morning. She began with a celebratory message, “Happy swag II day,” and then posted a screenshot of her listening to the track “Bad Honey,” saying, “this is my shittttt.” She also shouted out “Love Song,” “I Do,” and “When It’s Over.”
Yesterday, she shared Justin’s album announcement in her Instagram Story, on the same day she was celebrating Rhode’s expansion into Sephora. She also showed her support for Justin’s previous surprise album, Swag, when it dropped in July. At the time of the announcement, she quoted a Justin meme and joked on Instagram, “Is it finally clocking to you fucking losers?
On Swag, Justin appeared to address Hailey and the public commentary around their marriage on various songs, like “Go Baby” and “Walking Away.” Hailey, for her part, opened up about the criticism she and her husband have repeatedly faced when she spoke to Vogue earlier this year.
“I feel like I’ve fought so hard to try to get people to understand me, or know who I am, or see me for me. And people just don’t want to sometimes. And there’s nothing you can do about that,” she told the magazine. “I’ve been in a position where I’ve tried to tell my side of a story or correct a narrative or tell the truth of a lie and then they go, Well, she’s lying. Imagine how trapping that feels.”
She added, “I’ve learned so much from Justin, really. He’s been doing this literally since he was a child and he has had to face the most scrutiny of any person that I know. He was like, ‘Baby, trust me, I’ve been here before many, many times. You’re not going to win. There is no winning.’”
