Britney Spears has her family “terrified for her future” with her latest “episode.”
In recent years, the Grammy Award-winning singer, 43, has gotten her fans used to seeing unusual behavior on her Instagram with “rough” videos and dangerous dances. However, it seems her erratic behavior has taken a turn for the worse lately.
An insider has revealed Britney is “having an episode right now.” Although she recently appeared to be cleaning in a rare singing clip, the source claims her mental state is taking a toll on her home life.
“Her house is a mess,” they said. “She doesn’t clean up after the dogs, she doesn’t have someone there cleaning every day, and she just isn’t functioning like an adult would function.”
While speaking to the Daily Mail, the source shared, her family is “worried” and “monitoring” her behavior. However, despite the alarm, there is no current plan to intervene.
“Everyone sees the same thing, from fans to friends,” the source concluded. “But there isn’t anything that can be done to move forward and it just ends up being a never-ending circle.”
Britney has been in the spotlight for most of her life, first appearing on-screen at the young age of 11 when she starred on The Mickey Mouse Club. The singer’s mental health hadn’t risen alarm until 2007 when she was hospitalized on numerous occasions after public outbursts like attacking a paparazzi’s car and shaving her head.
The following year, the Los Angeles Superior Court put her father, Jamie Spears, in charge of her conservatorship.
In 2021, Britney told a judge she felt the legal agreement was doing “way more harm than good.”
