KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Another Kansas City Royals starting pitcher is now missing time due to injury, the team announced on Tuesday.
RHP Michael Wacha was placed on the 7-day concussion injured list, which is retroactive to Sept. 8. Infielder Jonathan India was also reinstated from the IL.

Bobby Witt Jr. is also back in the lineup after missing the last three games due to back spasms. This will be a huge boost for a Royals offense that has struggled immensely in his absence.
With Wacha’s injury, this now means that all five of the Royals starting have spent time on the IL this season. RHP Seth Lugo was placed on the 15-day IL last week due to a lower back strain.
RHP Cole Ragans was placed on the 60-day IL back in July and is currently on a rehab assignment with Omaha. He is likely to return soon.
On the season, Wacha is 9-11 with a 3.45 ERA, 117 strikeouts and 41 walks.
