In the wake of the death of conservative media personality Charlie Kirk, Comedy Central pulled the rerun of the “South Park” episode “Got A Nut” in which Cartman imitates Kirk.
Season 27 of “South Park” has stirred up a lot of controversy with only four episodes out so far, and its fifth is slated to air Wednesday, Sept. 17.
In its off weeks, Comedy Central has re-aired Season 27’s previous episodes in chronological order.
Those still hooked up to cable hoping to catch the reruns may have seen Episode 2 end shortly after the opening credits and be replaced with Episode 3.
