The Duchess of Sussex has been dealt a harsh blow as the streaming giant has released its damning viewing figures for her lifestyle series With Love, Meghan
Netflix has released its viewing figures for the second half of 2025, with Meghan Markle’s lifestyle show receiving dismal ratings. The Duchess of Sussex first launched her series – titled With Love, Meghan – in March 2025. The first season was widely panned, and made only a brief appearance in Netflix ’s top 10 programmes.
The second season of the show launched in August, and was the 1,224th most-watched program on Netflix between July and December 2025, according to the streamer’s Engagement Report for the second half of the year. The show racked up 2 million views since release, with 9.7 million hours viewed.

The hour-long holiday special, With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration, was not as well received as it ranked 1,022nd overall. The special, which premiered on December 3 had 2.4 million views and 2.3 million hours viewed.
These viewer numbers are significantly lower than the first season of the Netflix show as, despite its seemingly low watch numbers, it was ranked 383 with 5.3 million views during the first half of the year.
Meghan’s lifestyle show was hugely overshadowed by Netflix’s success stories of the past six months, with TV shows such as Wednesday and Stranger Things pulling in hundreds of millions of viewers, while anime film KPop Demon Hunters became the most watched Netflix title with 482 million views within the six month period.
The future of Meghan’s Netflix series is in doubt, as a source recently claimed it will not be renewed for a third season. A source told Page Six: “It’s not returning as a series. There have been conversations about holiday specials, but there’s nothing in the works yet.”
The source alleged that while there may be no more of Meghan’s show, she will continue to focus on her As Ever brand in a different way. They told the publication: “People will see similar cooking and crafting on Meghan’s socials for the brand, but more bite-sized.”
Netflix remains a partner in Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, which launched around the time the first season of With Love premiered. The programme has seen Meghan share cooking, crafting, and hosting tips with a range of celebrity pals and experts. Netflix is yet to officially comment on the future of Meghan Markle’s show, while Meghan has also not made any comment on the show since the holiday episode aired in December.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been working with Netflix since they stood down as working royals in 2020, delivering a bombshell docuseries with the streaming giant that recapped their decision to flee the Firm and relocate to America.
Despite the lucrative deal signed in 2020, the Sussexes signed a new contract with Netflix in 2025, which gave the company a ‘first look’ option on any of the couple’s ideas, with the Sussexes then able to take these elsewhere if the streaming giant passed on them.
during a sit-down with Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit in October 2025, Meghan explained the details of the couple’s ongoing working relationship with Netflix, as she said: “My husband and I were in an overall deal with Netflix, and then not just similar to Higher Ground in the Obamas’ deal, once that had come to its term, the extension of it, which was such an incredible sign of the strength of our partnership, was now being in a first-look deal.”
“Which is also exciting, because it gives us flexibility to go to our partners first, and then at the same time, to be able to shop content that might not be the right fit for Netflix, but has a home somewhere else.” The Duchess also said she was “grateful” for the “creative partnership” she has with Netflix, who work with her in conjunction on her As Ever lifestyle brand.
