Chainsaw Man Reze Arc Trailer Shows New Movie’s Intense Action

Sony Pictures has shared the English-subbed and dubbed versions of Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc, which serves as a direct sequel to the first season of the popular anime series. The movie is now scheduled to arrive in U.S. theaters on October 24.

“Denji worked as a Devil Hunter for the yakuza, trying to pay off the debt he inherited from his parents, until the yakuza betrayed him and had him killed. As he was losing consciousness, Denji’s beloved chainsaw-powered devil-dog, Pochita, made a deal with Denji and saved his life,” reads the official synopsis. “This fused the two together, creating the unstoppable Chainsaw Man. Now, in a brutal war between devils, hunters, and secret enemies, a mysterious girl named Reze has stepped into his world, and Denji faces his deadliest battle yet, fueled by love in a world where survival knows no rules.”

What happens in the new Chainsaw Man Reze Arc trailer?

The video highlights the epic action-fueled adventure of Denji, as he continues to navigate his chaotic life as a devil hunter. However, things get more complicated after he meets a girl named Reze. Despite his first date with the woman of his dreams, Denji finds himself drawn to another girl, who promises to teach him everything. The trailer also highlights Denji’s intense fight against the movie’s main antagonist, another hybrid who has bomb-like abilities.

Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara from a screenplay written by Hiroshi Seko, based on Tatsuki Fujimoto’s hit manga series of the same name. The voice cast includes Kikunosuke Toya as Denji, Reina Ueda as Reze, Fairouz Ai as Power, Tomori Kusunoki as Makina, Shogo Sakata as Aki, Shiori Izawa as Pochita, Karin Takahashi as Kobeni Higashiyama, Natsuki Hanee as Beam, Maaya Uchida as Angel Devil, and more. It is a production by MAPPA.
