After completing his freshman year at New York University in New York City, Barron Trump has reportedly transferred to NYU’s Washington, D.C. academic center, just blocks from the White House.
On Monday, September 15, a source told People that Barron, 19, is “doing a semester” in the District.
The academic center’s website states that “undergraduate students at NYU Washington, DC, engage deeply with politics, policy, business, journalism, and leadership through coursework and experiential learning in the nation’s capital.”

Plus, the D.C. location boasts a much smaller student body. While NYU’s New York City campus has almost 30,000 students, the academic center in D.C. only has between 60-100 each semester.
Last week, the celebrity.land reported that Barron had moved back into the White House with his parents.
Barron, who at 6-foot-7 towers over both of his parents, has mostly stayed out of the political spotlight despite being Donald and Melania Trump’s only child together. He spent his high school years at Oxbridge Academy in Florida and is said to speak fluent Slovenian, his mother’s native language. Unlike his older half-siblings, Barron has kept a low profile and has never publicly stated if he plans to have a future in politics.
