Cardi B announced that she’s expecting her fourth child—her first with her partner, NFL star Stefon Diggs. The Grammy-winning rapper shared the news in an interview with CBS Mornings on September 17, saying, “Yes, I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs.”
She added, “I’m excited. I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work—but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”
Cardi shares three other children with her ex Offset: 8-year-old Kulture Kiari, 4-year-old Wave Set, and 1-year-old Blossom.
She opened up more about her relationship with Diggs, saying they’re “very supportive of each other” and are motivated to excel in their respective careers. “We’re never, like, comfortable. We just wanna keep doing it, and that’s just how we both are,” she said.
Cardi, who is currently promoting her album, Am I the Drama?, out September 19, first sparked romance rumors with Diggs in October 2024. However, they didn’t make their relationship public until May of this year when they sat courtside together at game 4 of the Knicks-Celtics NBA playoff series. The following month, they went Instagram-official.
The “Up” singer was previously married to rapper Offset. They wed in 2017 before Cardi filed for divorce in 2020. “I got tired of fucking arguing. I got tired of not seeing things eye-to-eye,” she said in an Instagram Live at the time, per Pop Crave. The two reconciled but ultimately broke up when Cardi filed for divorce again in August 2024.
Amid her romance with Diggs, Cardi told the TODAY show that she’s open to re-marrying. “Yeah, I would get married again,” she said in the September 16 interview. “I believe in love. I’m like a hopeless romantic.”
