The “Australian wildlife photographer, conservationist, TV presenter, actor and zookeeper” is single — previously admitting he is looking for an “American girl” to sweep him off his feet — but what does it really take to be his perfect match?
Irwin — who has topped the DWTS season 34 leaderboard the past two weeks — is already a frontrunner for the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy, showing off some serious dancing skills throughout his journey on the reality television series thus far.
The Aussie’s expertise may be lacking in the love department, though, still single at the age of 21.

After One-Hit Wonders Night — which took place yesterday (September 23) in Los Angeles, California — Irwin and his professional dance partner, Witney Carson, stopped by the media to discuss all things DWTS, with a few conversations surrounding their lives outside of the dance studio spliced in between.

In a TikTok video shared by E! News — captioned “‘I’ve got another protective older sister now.’ 😂 Robert Irwin reveals the funny way his #DWTS partner Witney Carson is helping his dating journey — Irwin revealed what exactly he is looking for in his quest for love.
“I think more than anything else, just genuine kindness. That’s so important. I think you need to surround yourself with people who are genuinely kind,” he spilled. How sweet is that?
Nevertheless, Irwin continued, “Also, my life is a whirlwind. It’s an adventure, and I would love to be able to share that with someone and share those little moments… I have a lot of great role models in the love department, you know, and a lot of people I look up to and go, ‘Wow, you guys are couple goals!’”
“I wanna find that, but it’s something you kind of can’t rush. It just has to happen, and you gotta be open to that… I know she’s out there, and I look forward to it,” he concluded with an ear-to-ear smile, ending the conversation on an oh-so positive note.
Needless to say, women could not stop swooning in the comment section of the post, with some even shooting their shot:
