Ryan Lochte’s estranged wife, Kayla Lochte, accused the Olympian’s new girlfriend of acting inappropriately around their kids, Us Weekly can exclusively report.
On Thursday, September 25, Kayla filed an emergency motion demanding temporary child and spousal support from Ryan, 41, weeks after she demanded sole custody of the kids.
As part of her motion, Kayla, 34, revealed the information about Ryan’s new “paramour.”
“Currently, [Ryan] is undermining [Kayla] as the mother of their children, as on multiple occasions he has brought his paramour of only a couple months to the minor children’s school to have lunch,” Kayla’s lawyer wrote in court docs. “The paramour has been witnessed following [one of their kids] down the school hallway in an attempt to hug her, saying ‘come here, I need a hug,’ despite [the child’s] protests.”

The lawyer added, “[Ryan] does nothing to eradicate his paramour’s inappropriate behavior.”
In addition, Kayla’s motion said on Wednesday, September 24, Ryan “unilaterally pulled the children from school after sending [Kayla]” a message. She said she asked where the kids were, “but [Ryan] refused to answer.” The Sun was the first to report the news.
In July, Ryan announced he was in a relationship with a woman named Molly. The athlete told the Daily Mail there was no infidelity with his new partner and that the romance started after he was served divorce papers.

As Us first reported, Kayla filed court docs earlier this month demanding sole custody due to her concerns about Ryan’s sobriety.
She accused him of using drugs during their marriage. Kayla said she found empty baggies of cocaine around the home. She also claimed she found him using nitrous oxide in front of one of their kids in the garage one time.

Ryan adamantly denied the accusations when contacted by Us.
“As I acknowledged earlier this week, after my car accident in 2023, I fell into a cycle of depression that led to substance abuse,” Ryan told Us. “I am not denying that I used drugs in my home, but I adamantly deny ever using drugs in front of or around my children, and I have never driven them while intoxicated.”

Ryan continued, “At times, I would rest in my truck instead of going inside — not because I was impaired, but because the home environment had become overwhelming and very toxic, and I needed a moment to collect myself before walking in.”
“I have tried desperately to keep these divorce proceedings private and sealed, not to protect myself, but to protect my children from fabricated allegations that could hurt them,” he added. “Unfortunately, despite that effort, my ex-wife chose to make this matter public, knowing I was already in intensive rehab.”
“We all make mistakes in life. We are not defined by those mistakes, but by how we learn from them and the work we put in to overcome them. I am extremely sorry for hurting or disappointing anyone along the way,” Ryan continued. “My focus now is on my recovery, on being the best father I can be, and on moving forward in a way that keeps my kids safe, supported, and loved.”
As Us previously reported, on March 26, Kayla filed for divorce from Ryan after seven years of marriage. The exes share three minor children: Caiden, born in 2017, Liv, born in 2019, and Georgia, born in 2023.
