Luis Morales allowed two earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out five over 4 2/3 innings in Saturday’s loss to the Royals.

The right-hander continues a mostly steady stretch on the mound, allowing less than three runs in three of his last five starts for the Athletics. After yesterday’s performance, Morales now has a 3.14 ERA and 1.15 WHIP to go with a 4-3 record across nine starts this season.
