Lori Loughlin is finding comfort in a friend.
The Full House alum, 61, had dinner with fellow actor James Tupper at The Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood on Wednesday, October 1, according to photos obtained by TMZ.
The former When Calls the Heart star donned a laid-back outfit, consisting of a pair of blue jeans, a black blazer, and a black purse. Meanwhile, the Big Little Lies alum, 61, paired jeans with a white button-down and jacket.
Sources close to the situation told TMZ that the pair — who costarred in two films on the Great American Family network — are just friends.
Loughlin’s outing came the night before news broke on Thursday, October 2, that she and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, had separated after 28 years of marriage.
“They are living apart and taking a break from their marriage. There are no legal proceedings at this time,” Loughlin’s representative Elizabeth Much told People on Friday, October 3.
Loughlin and Giannulli, 62 — who share daughters Bella Rose, 27, and Olivia Jade, 26 — weathered some tough times together throughout the years as they were famously indicted as part of the 2019 Operation Varsity Blues college scandal.
In 2020, the couple pleaded guilty to wire and mail fraud as they were accused of paying to get their daughters accepted to the University of Southern California. The Summerland alum was subsequently sentenced to two months in prison, while the fashion designer received a five-month sentence.
