The photographer responsible for capturing some of Prince William and Princess Kate‘s most intimate moments has shared his assessment of one of the couple’s latest behind-the-scenes images, which has taken social media by storm.
The Prince and Princess of Wales captured hearts last month when Kensington Palace released an enchanting photograph of them departing the spectacular state banquet held in honor of US President Donald Trump at Windsor Castle.
Princess Kate appeared radiant in a custom gown by British designer Phillipa Lepley featuring a full-length, hand-embroidered gold Chantilly lace evening coat layered over a silk crepe dress, reflecting her dedication to championing British designers.
She also wore her treasured Lover’s Knot tiara and earrings from the late Queen.
The future king looked distinguished as well, displaying all his military decorations, reports the Express.
Matt Porteous, who frequently photographs for the Royal pair and also captured their official portrait before the banquet, posted a more comprehensive version of the behind-the-scenes photograph, which was initially featured on Kensington Palace’s Instagram stories.
He wrote alongside the post, delivering an eight-word assessment of his image,”One frame. Pure elegance, forever held in time.”
Royal enthusiasts erupted with excitement when the photographs were first unveiled earlier in September and voiced their delight across social media platforms.
One follower commented on Instagram, “Holy WOW [fire emojis] they look unbelievably gorgeous! And Catherine, she is ‘THE MOMENT!’ Like holy h*** she looks stunning.”
Another user added, “Omg I’m at lost for words. they both look so beautiful, but Princess Catherine, omg so beautiful, the dress omg so beautiful the tiara everything.”
A third one said, “Princess Kate represents the essence of grace and refinement.”
A fourth fan said, “Kate and William really nailed it at this state dinner. Both of the king’s sons wear formalwear so well and so effortlessly, and this gown was perfect on Kate.”
Kate was even praised by Mr Trump during his speech at the state banquet, saying that she is looking so “so radiant, so healthy.”
The US President said, “His Majesty has also raised a remarkable son in His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales. Really amazing. We’ve gotten to know you and I think you’re going to have an unbelievable success in future. Melania and I are delighted to visit again with Prince William and to see Her Royal Highness, Princess Catherine, so radiant and so healthy; it’s so beautiful. It’s really a great honour, thank you.”
