Julianne Hough shocked fans on Disney Night with what fans have branded “her best look yet.”
The Footloose actress, 37, often divides fans with the ensembles she wears while hosting Dancing with the Stars.
Just last season, her outfits faced brutal comparisons and even caused an expert to weigh in and admit she needed to make a “strategic adjustment” to her stylist choices.
It seems she made approving changes to her wardrobe during the off-season as she has now returned with a look that has fans obsessing over her.
For the Wednesday, October 8 episode of the hit reality competition, Julianne wore a sequin-embellished turquoise gown. The strapless piece featured a fitted silhouette with boning along with the hipline. She paired the look with a pair of black open-toe sandals.
Before the show, she and her brother Derek, who judges the competition, channeled their inner Sharpay and Ryan Evans on Instagram, recreating an iconic scene from High School Musical.
The 34th season of Dancing with the Stars is dedicating its’ fourth week to Disneyland‘s 70th anniversary.
Julianne and Derek weren’t the only two to pay homage to the hit musical. Scott Hoying and Rylee Arnold performed a Salsa to the movie’s Bop to the Top.
The host’s success in the entertainment industry can be attributed to Dancing with the Stars. She quickly rose to fame in 2007 when she started as a pro dancer on the reality competition series. The rookie took home the Mirrorball trophy that year with Olympic speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno. She has now starred in several award-winning films like Footloose, Burlesque and Safe Haven.
She devotes most of her time now to the reality competition, which she now hosts regularly with Alfonso Ribeiro. Both hosts are fairly new with Julianne returning to the show in 2023 and the actor coming back in 2022 eight years after winning the Mirrorball trophy with partner Witney Carson.
Dancing with the Stars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
