Punjabi actor and musician Rajvir Jawanda breathed his last on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 10:55 am. He passed away at the age of 35 while undergoing treatment at the Fortis Hospital, Mohali. He had reportedly been battling for his life for nearly 12 days, post his road accident, before taking his last breath on Wednesday morning. The hospital authorities have confirmed his death.
According to a Hindustan Times report, he had suffered severe head and spinal injuries during the road accident near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. It was on September 27, 2025, that his motorcycle had collided with stray cattle that had suddenly appeared on the road.

The media publications stated that as per the doctors, his neurological condition remained critical, with minimal brain activity and no significant improvement despite the intensive medical care. For those who don’t know, Jawanda’s condition was described as “extremely critical,” and he had been on life support ever since his admission.
Having started his musical journey in 2014 with the single Munda Like Me, Rajvir became widely recognized for his hit songs like Surname, Kamla, Mera Dil, and Sardari. He also impressed the audience with his versatile performances in films like Jind Jaan, Mindo Taseeldarni, and Kaka Ji.

A resident of Mohali’s Sector 71, he had originally aspired to become a police officer. However, chose to follow his true passion, music instead. He made the county proud as his works celebrated Punjabi pride and culture.
The news of the 35-year-old actor-musician’s death has left the industry and his fans in extreme shock. While Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann visited the hospital on Sunday to enquire about his health, many others have taken to their official social media handles to mourn his untimely passing.
