RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – Besides being the home of the Richmond Flying Squirrels, CarMax Park will be home to numerous other events throughout the year.
The Flying Squirrels on Wednesday announced the creation of 804Live, which will facilitate events at the Park.
804Live plans to bring events like concerts, festivals, corporate gatherings, boxing matches, and weddings to CarMax Park.
“One aim of 804Live is to book some of the biggest and best musical acts, in what will be Richmond’s biggest entertainment venue, with a capacity of over 14,000 people for major concerts and events,” said Lou DiBella, managing partner of the Richmond Flying Squirrels.
DiBella said there will be several spaces at CarMax Park available for rent.
“Multiple areas within CarMax Park are venues themselves and will be available to host concerts, sporting events, formal affairs, business functions, meetings and parties of every size or magnitude,” said DiBella.
