New music highlights from Dancing Astronaut’s Artists to Watch in 2025

Dreya V – On The Record

Dreya V‘s newest single, “On The Record,” is out now via Three Six Zero Recordings. “This record felt like it wrote itself,” she shared. “It’s been goin’ off in my sets.” Her latest original follows June’s “Up Front” on Gorgon City’s Realm Records, which has earned massive support from DJs like Chris Lake, Vintage Culture, GENESI and more. – Zach Salafia

Jackie Hollander – You Go I Go

After teasing it throughout the majority of the year, Jackie Hollander has finally turned in “You Go I Go,” which is out now on Three Six Zero Recordings. Built on catchy melodies with steady rhythms, the track is an undeniably earworm as the San Francisco-based producer continues to establish her place in the scene. Known for her innovative, self-taught production style and commanding live presence, Hollander delivers another testament to her evolving artistry — one that’s already caught the attention of some of the genre’s biggest names and earned her a spot on Dancing Astronaut’s Artists to Watch in 2025 list. – Danielle Carty

Mary Droppinz & Casey Club – Sofa Soup

Mary Droppinz continues her torrid release run with “Sofa Soup,” her new single alongside Casey Club. “Sofa Soup” is her fourth original release of 2025 following singles like “PRAY” and “PLB (Pretty Little Baby),” which was rinsed out by Excision at Lost Lands. And Droppinz also recently uploaded her set from Elements Festival on her SoundCloud. – Zach Salafia

Adam Sellouk & Zerky – Touch It

Adam Sellouk follows up his massive collaboration with Anyma, “Girls MIA,” with “Touch It,” his new joint effort with Zerky, out now via Spinnin’ Deep. A staple in Sellouk’s sets since 2023, the Daft Punk-sampled weapon finally receives its long-awaited official release. “Touch It” has already earned early support from John Summit, Mau P, ARTBAT, and more. – Zach Salafia

Abstraal, Braynod & Takzee – Hit The Gaas

French duo Abstraal have teamed up with Braynod & Takzee for “Hit The Gaas”, a peak-time techno record with memorable hip hop vocals. Built for the dancefloor, the track is a relentless driver that sets the tone for the full Interstellar VA III on Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2025 Henri Bergmann‘s Automatik record label. – Alex Lambeau

Obskür & Omar+ – Serious

Dublin duo Obskür return with their latest heater, ‘Serious’ alongside Omar+. Serious cements Obskür’s reputation for trailblazing a new era of the UK minimal sound. Following breakout releases like “Bayside” and their Tomike collab “I’ve Arrived,” the track flexes their evolution as well as Omar’s meteoric rise. With Serious, Obskür continue their steady rise from Dublin’s underground to the global dance stage. – Oliver Broek

Argy & John Cala – BOOM

Argy continues his unstoppable momentum with the release of “BOOM,” a collaboration with John Cala, out now on NEWORLD. The single arrives following the massive success of his New World LP and high-profile collaborations with Anyma, MEDUZA, and Lost Frequencies. For Cala, the track marks another step in his rapid ascent with continued DJ support from Adriatique, CamelPhat, and Solomun. Together, Argy and Cala deliver a release that reinforces NEWORLD’s role as one of the genre’s leading creative hubs. – Alex Lambeau

Tinlicker – I Want My Freedom

A new era of Tinlicker is here. Alongside the release of their new single, “I Want My Freedom,” the group announced that a new album is on the way, set for release in early 2026. They also revealed that Tinlicker is now officially a trio, formally introducing Hero Baldwin as a full-time member. The single and upcoming album are co-written by all three, who previously collaborated on tracks like “Rebirth” and “Tell Me.” The trio already soft launched their new bandmate with shows featuring the three of them together at Melkweg Amsterdam in July and in London for Tinlicker In The Park at Crystal Palace Bowl — their biggest live show to date. – Zach Salafia

Subtronics & Linney – Friends

Kicking off the second installment of his upcoming third studio album FIBONACCI, Subtronics unveils the first single, “Friends,” featuring Linney. The track pairs Linney’s heartfelt vocals with Subtronics’ explosive yet melancholic sound design. Centered on themes of connection and loss, “Friends” blends vulnerability with intensity, revealing a more introspective side of his artistry. With FIBONACCI set for release on December 5, this new era finds Subtronics expanding his sonic palette while staying true to the emotional core that defines his music. – Liana Stern

Le Youth, Lipless & Hana Fatur – i don’t know what to say

Exactly one year following Le Youth’s collaborative project &, the This Never Happened veteran has turned in his first original of the calendar. 2025 has leaned towards the lighter side for him on the release front — including a Childish remix album appearance — but Le Youth has returned in prime form to convert ID6 from Lane 8’s fall mixtape into “i don’t know what to say” alongside Lipless and Hana Fatur. And there’s “more to come,” per his Instagram caption. – Ross Goldenberg
