The star-studded movie will also see the return of Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci. The film will also introduce new cast members, including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Rachel Bloom, Pauline Chalamet, Patrick Brammall, and many more. The film is directed by David Frankel and is set to release on May 1, 2026.
“The Devil Wears Prada” was released in 2006 and was a major box office hit. The film succeeded commercially and received praise from the critics. Fans are now gearing up for its sequel, which will be released nearly 20 years after the first film.
The plot hasn’t been disclosed yet. However, filming began in June 2025 in New York City and later moved to Milan.
