Josh Allen keeps a little piece of his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, with him on the field.
Throughout the 2025 NFL season, the Buffalo Bills quarterback, 29, has been sporting a wedding band during games. It appears that Allen has been wearing a silicone band — a popular choice for athletes — instead of his regular one, which has a row of diamonds in the middle, per a photo from his wedding day.
In a June press conference, Allen — who wed the Sinners actress, 28, in May — revealed that he “got some hardware now,” quickly showing his ring to the camera.
There is, of course, a risk that comes with wearing jewelry on the field, as you could get ring avulsion, which is “a traumatic injury that occurs when a ring is caught on an object and is yanked off your finger suddenly and rapidly, potentially causing severe tissue damage,” according to Healthline. Luckily, silicone rings seemingly don’t pose the same risks, according to ESPN.

As Star reported, Allen opened up in August about having the Dickinson alum by his side.
“To have the support that I do at home and to have someone that I share similar life interests with and want in life, it’s an awesome feeling,” he told Fox Sport’s Pam Oliver during a preseason game.
“And I get to support somebody as much as she supports me,” he added. “So I’m very happy, obviously.”
Earlier that month, Allen called his wedding night in Santa Barbara, “the best night of my life,” in an episode of the HBO sports docuseries Hard Knocks.
