Three talented vocalists from Georgia have turned chairs and are making headlines on NBC’s “The Voice” Season 28.
Two remain while one was recently eliminated in a battle.

Jerrell Melton
Fayetteville native Jerrell Melton, 29, landed on Team Snoop, impressing the coaches with a dynamic and passionate vocal performance of “Go the Distance” by Michael Bolton.
Manny Costello
From Athens, Manny Costello, 28, is a girl-dad that landed a spot on Team Reba McEntire after moving her to tears with his performance of “Almost Home” by Craig Morgan.
McEntire and Snoop Dogg both turned their chairs during his performance.
After the performance, McEntire was emotionally moved, she said Costello “made me homesick” and remarked that his voice brought to mind legendary country singers such as George Jones, Merle Haggard, and Randy Travis.
The Voice: Eliminated in this week’s battle
Kanard Thomas
From Columbus, 35-year-old Kanard Thomas earned a spot on Team Snoop Dogg after a powerful audition that highlighted his soulful tone and confident stage presence.
Both Snoop and Niall Horan turned their chairs, with Snoop even singing along. “Your are a performer, I felt that and I seen that,” Snoop said.
Thomas lost a battle this week to Kenny Iko and was eliminated.
