Toddlers can be hard to please—sometimes, my daughter won’t eat the banana she asked for if I peel it before she gives me permission. But one thing that can reliably bring many of them joy is Spidey and His Amazing Friends, the Disney show which takes all the most beloved Marvel superheroes (and villains) and turns them into kids.
The show’s young fans are in for a treat. On October 16, 2025, Disney debuted a collaboration fans have been waiting for: Marvel’s Spidey and Iron Man: Avengers Team-Up! It’s the first time the two shows—Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends and Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends—will have their own official crossover episode.
What Marvel Fans Can Expect From This Crossover Episode
Spidey, Spin, and Ghost-Spider, three versions of Spider-Man from different dimensions, are at the center of Spidey and His Amazing Friends. Other fan-favorites from the comic book franchise also make appearances—most notably, Tony Stark aka Iron Man. Meanwhile, Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends focuses on Iron Man, Ironheart, and Iron Hulk, who all have their own special “Iron Suit” that gives them super strength.
The crossover episode first airs on Disney Jr. on October 16, 2025, and will be available to stream on Disney+ on October 17, 2025. It revolves around Hulk, Black Panther, Ms. Marvel, and Captain America joining Spidey as they take on the Green Goblin and Ultron, who want to steal all the machines in New York City.
In this cute clip from the episode, Spidey, Iron Man, the Hulk, and more of their superhero friends race to save their city from a giant robot with the head of a pumpkin.
What’s Next for ‘Spidey and his Amazing Friends’
The Spidey and Iron Man team up is a preview of what’s to come in a new Marvel superhero show headed to Disney in 2027, called Marvel’s Avengers: Mightiest Friends. Not much is known about the show yet, but Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Panther, and Captain America are all set to star and they’ll be up against classic Marvel villains like Thanos and the Green Goblin.
Earlier this year, Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends appeared as LEGO characters for the first time, in a YouTube short which revealed the show’s new theme song.
Aimed at pre-schoolers, season 4 of Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends premiered back in June 2025, and has already been renewed for season 5.
