AMB Sports and Entertainment has announced the retirement of Chief Operating Officer Dietmar Exler, which leads to the promotion of key leaders into new roles. Exler’s successor as COO will be Tameka Rish.
Exler will retire from the organization effective Aug. 14, 2026, following an “exceptional tenure marked by operational excellence, major event leadership and meaningful contributions across the Blank Family of Businesses” as the AMBSE stated. AMBSE will now realign operational responsibilities, “positioning the organization for continued success in its current operations and future growth plans”. Tameka Rish has been elevated to executive vice president, chief operating officer of AMBSE. She also successfully led operations and fan experience at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, including major events, live events, and game presentation, including Atlanta United and the Atlanta Falcons.
Doug Roberts will become the senior vice president, stadium revenue and events. Roberts will now assume additional responsibility for executing major events, bringing together the full lifecycle of Stadium events from sales to booking to event execution. In his past roles, Roberts was responsible for leading premium sales for the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United and Mercedes-Benz Stadium, booking third-party events and architecting sales agreements with entities such as the NCAA, SEC, NFL, Concacaf, Premier League, Live Nation and AEG. Prior to joining Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Roberts managed suite sales for Levi’s Stadium, Legends Global Sales, and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Rish, Roberts and Coomer will all report to AMBSE President, Tim Zulawski. “These leadership changes reflect the depth of talent across AMBSE and our commitment to creating opportunities for proven leaders to grow,” said Zulawski. “Tameka, Doug and Joe each bring strong experience, trusted leadership and a deep commitment to our associates, fans, guests and partners.
