Key Prince Andrew claims we learned from Virginia Giuffre’s new book, Nobody’s Girl

Virginia Giuffre detailed an orgy she claimed she had with Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein in her posthumously published memoir that revealed more details about her alleged relationship with the former duke, who has long denied having ever met her.

In her memoir, Nobody’s Girl, Ms Giuffre claimed she had sex three times with Andrew, in London, New York and on Epstein’s private island.

ITV News obtained a copy ahead of the book’s publication on Tuesday.

What does the book reveal?

The memoir describes Ms Giuffre’s relationship with Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein and the prince and goes into detail about her time with them, where she claimed she was sexually abused when she was 17.

She also outlines the pressure she claimed she faced from Andrew’s legal teams, as well as claiming some media organisations were afraid of covering her story due to fears they would lose access to the Royal Family.

Ms Giuffre died by suicide in April this year. In the book, Ms Giuffre expressed her wish that it be published if she died.

The King’s brother relinquished his Duke of York title on Friday amid intensified focus on his links with Epstein, and on Ms Giuffre’s allegations, which Andrew vehemently denies.

Here are some of the details Ms Giuffre revealed about her alleged relationship with the prince.

Sexual relationship with Andrew

Ms Giuffre has written about her three alleged sexual encounters with Prince Andrew – resurfacing claims of an underage orgy and that the royal believed having sex with her was his “birthright”.

She claimed she had three sexual encounters with Prince Andrew. First at London Townhouse, then Epstein New York Townhouse, then on the island of Little St James.

Ms Giuffre said British socialite-turned-sex trafficker Maxwell told her that “just like Cinderella, I was going to meet a handsome prince” ahead of the first alleged incident in March 2001.

The book reads: “It was going to be a special day, she said.

“Just like Cinderella, I was going to meet a handsome prince!

“Her old friend Prince Andrew would be dining with us that night, she said, and we had lots to do to get me ready.”

After repeating claims that she attended Tramp nightclub with the prince, where he “sweated profusely”, Ms Giuffre went on to allege Andrew had sex with her at Maxwell’s London home.

Ms Giuffre said: “’Guess Jenna’s age’, she urged the prince, after she introduced me.

“The Duke of York, who was then 41, guessed correctly: 17.

“‘My daughters are just a little younger than you’, he told me, explaining his accuracy.”

The infamous picture

Ms Giuffre said she remembered running for her “Kodak FunSaver” camera to snap the now infamous picture of her with Andrew – adding that “my mom would never forgive me if I met someone as famous as Prince Andrew and didn’t pose for a picture”.

She claimed: “He was friendly enough, but still entitled — as if he believed having sex with me was his birthright.”

Ms Giuffre also claimed Andrew had participated in an orgy with “approximately eight other young girls” on Epstein’s Caribbean island, Little St James, also referred to as Little Saint Jeff’s by those who knew Epstein.

She repeated allegations made in a sworn declaration in 2015 in which she claimed all the girls seemed to be “under the age of 18”.

Claims internet trolls were hired to harass her

In the memoir, Ms Giuffre claims that Prince Andrew’s team tried to hire internet trolls to hassle her after they settled their legal case.

Ms Giuffre claimed: “We would never get a confession, of course. That’s what settlements are designed to avoid. But we were trying for the next best thing: a general acknowledgement of what I’d been through.”

She described how she took part in two days of mediation, and her lawyer read the duke’s agreed settlement statement at 2.30am Florida time “through tears, both hers and mine”.

Andrew’s disastrous Newsnight interview

Ms Giuffre also said Andrew’s disastrous Newsnight interview was like an “injection of jet fuel” for her legal team, and it raised the possibility of calling his former wife Sarah, and daughters Beatrice and Eugenie as witnesses in her legal case.

“If we deposed the princesses, his family members could potentially poke holes in his alibi,” she wrote.

Andrew’s 2019 Newsnight interview, which he hoped would clear his name, backfired when he said he “did not regret” his friendship with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who trafficked Ms Giuffre.

Andrew also said he had “no recollection” of ever meeting Ms Giuffre and added he could not have had sex with her in March 2001 because he was at Pizza Express with his daughter Beatrice on the day in question.

Ms Giuffre said her legal team planned to send a deposition to Beatrice to find out if the Pizza Express meal ever happened.

Giuffre wanted to use ‘Crown’s money’ to do good after payout

Ms Giuffre described looking forward to using the “Crown’s money to do some good” after receiving millions from the late Queen’s son in a settlement.

In her memoir, Ms Giuffre did not divulge how much she was confidentially paid in 2022, but referred to reports “that his mother, the Queen of England, had footed the bill”.

She is said to have received more than $12million (£9m) from Andrew to settle her civil sexual assault case, despite the prince claiming never to have met her.

In her book, Ms Giuffre wrote: “I look forward to disseminating some of the Crown’s money to do some good.”
