He frequently shares snapshots of his peaceful existence in the stunning Cotswolds. However, England icon Sir David Beckham has now demonstrated exactly how deeply he treasures rural life – through this stylish photoshoot in the Oxfordshire countryside.
The 50 year old superstar also discussed his most cherished vista, beloved dish and his bond with the magnificent countryside during an emotional interview this week.
The feature appears in today’s Country Life magazine, which Sir David has guest edited. The father of four praised how he “fell far deeper in love” with rural areas through his bond with filmmaker Guy Ritchie, who hails from countryside Hertfordshire.
Discussing Guy, Sir David remarked: “He’s a modern-day caveman, who has made me fall far deeper in love with the countryside and helped me to understand it even more than I did before.
“Sometimes, we sit for hours around a fire, just the two of us, and talk late into the night.”

The former Manchester United midfielder sported a tweed jacket, and wore dark green corduroy pants tucked into wellington boots for the photoshoot.
The celebrity also donned a blue checkered shirt paired with a dark necktie as he carried a walking stick across a meadow near his Cotswolds residence, reports The Mirror.
Yet he was raised in a completely different setting in east London, frequently visiting Epping Forest to flee the chaos and commotion as a youngster.

Sir David revealed to Country Life: “(My) earliest memories of doing anything in the countryside are when I was a cub, then a scout and we used to go camping in Epping Forest.”
Over the years, King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla, and Anne, Princess Royal have all taken turns as guest editors for the publication.
The editor-in-chief praised Sir David’s edition, available in stores until Tuesday, calling it “an outstanding issue.”
In this special edition, he chats with food writer and the Queen’s son, Tom Parker Bowles, about his favorite quintessential British dish.
Businessman and culinary enthusiast Sir David shared: “There’s something so nostalgic about mashed potato, liver, bacon and lots of gravy.
“It’s one of those British comfort classics that my mum used to make for me and was also my grandad’s favorite dish.
“My gran was also a great cook, and it was always a treat going down to the pie and mash shop in Chapel Market.
“If I had to choose my last meal, it would be pie, mash, liquor and jellied eels.”
Sir David resides with Victoria, better known as Posh Spice, in the Cotswolds.

Since purchasing the property nine years ago, Sir David has spared no expense in transforming the grounds into a verdant paradise – complete with vegetable patches, chickens, bees, and a selection of roses planted specifically for Victoria and their youngest daughter, Harper, 14.
The former England star revealed that his passion for gardening, which has resulted in a bounty of carrots, radishes, kale, and onions, was inspired by his maternal grandfather Joe.
