Per a press release, ‘Lyrically, the punishing track explores the decay of morality in a world consumed by vanity and self-interest. It reflects on the way society devours itself through ego and exploitation, as if we’re willingly feeding the very forces that will destroy us. It’s both a condemnation and a reminder of how easily we can lose sight of what truly matters.’
That song arrives around two weeks in advance of the British death metal band’s forthcoming North American headlining tour, which will see Distant, Ov Sulfur, CELL and Crucifiction opening.
