After acquiring Roald Dahl‘s catalog some years ago, Netflix has taken a rather unexpected route. While adaptations of the author’s most major works are in different stages of development, the partnership truly got underway with a quartet of short films directed by Wes Anderson, none of which were particularly kid-friendly. That said, Anderson ended up winning an Oscar for directing The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar. The streamer recently released its next major Dahl adaptation, The Twits, this past week.
