Meow! It’s almost Halloween, and Sabrina Carpenter has already begun celebrating. While in Pittsburgh for her Short n’ Sweet Tour, the Grammy-winning artist brought out her best feline-inspired looks for some truly paw-some moments bound to find their way onto countless costume inspo boards.
In a contemporary, crystallized, and quintessential Carpenter take on the catsuit, she graced the stage in a black Patou one-piece that sparkled (almost) as brightly as she did. The black look was designed with a high mock-neck and capri-length pants, with a matching bolero that transformed the sleeveless silhouette into something new entirely. She slipped her feet into Louboutin pumps, giving her monochrome look a hint of red.
The other look, a Victoria’s Secret bodysuit by Adam Selman, featured a bedazzled cheetah print in blacks, browns, and whites. Trimmed with lace and designed with a strapless silhouette, the form-fitting style felt like an evening-wear iteration of classic VS lingerie. Carpenter and stylist Jared Ellner paired it with a sheer lacy cape and coordinating garters for the sweetest kitten look.
Proudly participating in the theme, Gigi Hadid showed up to the concert in a t-shirt that proved she understood the assignment. The subject—or rather, suspect—of Carpenter’s “Juno” arrest was seen on screen in a lace-trimmed leopard-print cami of her own… well, sort of. The VS angel herself turned to Diesel for the look, which played with the underwear-as-outerwear trend by printing the lingerie on top of a jersey tee. And what a coincidence! It just so happened to go perfectly with her new fluffy pink handcuffs.
