Megan Fox was a bloody vision last night as she stepped out in Los Angeles for a screening of her cult-classic horror film, Jennifer’s Body. The actor embodied her character, Jennifer Check—a possessed high school student who kills and eats her male classmates in order to survive—in a nude, lace-up corset gown dripping with blood-red gems.
The crystals were shaped like blood droplets, and hung from the beige corset bodice’s sweetheart neckline, as well as from the asymmetric, cloud-like skirt.
The corset’s boning was also bright red, and to match, Fox wore a red choker—also adorned with some gleaming blood droplets—a sharp red manicure, and a dark crimson pedicure that was visible through her clear PVC heels.
Fox’s silky, dark brown hair was down in glamorous waves, and she wore an inky cat eye and a soft pink lip to complete her vicious look.
The bloody gown was custom-made for the actor by LA-based designer Karine Gasparyan, who shared photos of the look, from every angle, on her Instagram.
Jennifer’s Body was released in 2009. The screening of the film came ahead of Halloween weekend.
“[It] was very healing for me because I was really struggling at that time,” she said at the event, recalling her experience making the film. “And if I had been able to warn myself or give myself advice or have any sort of grounding or clarity, I don’t think you would’ve gotten the performance that you got.”
