1,000-Lb. Sisters star Amy Slaton and her boyfriend, Brian Lovvorn, have tied the knot in a spooky Halloween ceremony.
“My wedding is a dream finally coming true,” Slaton, 38, told People in an interview published on Friday, October 31. “I’m getting my happily ever after!”
Slaton and Lovvorn exchanged vows on Friday at Talbott Tavern in Bardstown, Kentucky, which has long been rumored to be haunted. The venue’s sordid history, however, wasn’t an issue for the couple, who got engaged late last year at a haunted house.
“I deeply cherished the journey of wedding planning, embracing the art and location hunting, but selecting bridesmaids and groomsmen proved to be a profound challenge,” Slaton told the outlet about organizing her Victorian-themed wedding. “I intuitively knew that my extraordinary friend Ollisha [Davis] would graciously accept the esteemed honor of being my maid of honor, even before I extended the heartfelt invitation.”
Slaton stunned in a sleeveless lace bridal gown with a dark gray tiara that popped against her newly dyed red hair. Amy’s sister, Tammy Slaton, was also present for the big day and wore all-black.
Amy and Lovvorn have been together since 2024 after meeting at a concert at a local park.
“Getting married means that I’m no longer lonely because I’ve discovered my soulmate, Brian, is my happy place,” Amy, who was previously married to Michael Halterman, said on Friday. “Once you get to know him, you’ll find him to be the sweetest, most caring person you’ll ever have the pleasure of knowing.”
She continued, “Not only did he capture my heart, but he also won over my boys and not many men out there will accept a single mom with two energetic boys. I adore how he inspires me to be a better version of myself, how he prioritizes my well-being and that of my boys, selflessly putting our needs before his own.”
Amy and Halterman, 42, were married from 2019 to 2023 after being introduced during high school. The now-exes share sons Gage, 4, and Glenn, 3.
Amy’s spooky wedding day to Lovvorn will be featured on the upcoming season of 1,000-Lb. Sisters, according to People. (Amy and Tammy, 39, costar on the docuseries, charting their respective weight loss journeys.)

“Getting married is a promise to spend the rest of our days trying to make each other’s days as good as they can be, whatever that means and at any given time,” Lovvorn told People. “The next chapter is Amy continuing to do art and hopefully I can start to cover sports while doing some kind of writing. This and, of course, raise the boys the best we can.”
Amy first confirmed her romance with Lovvorn earlier this year.
“Spring love in the air, Brian Lovvorn,” she wrote via Instagram in April. “Thank you @nick.knock.lets.bop for taking the picture bestie!!!”
Months later, the now-newlyweds celebrated their first anniversary.
“Happy 1-year anniversary, baby!!” she wrote on June 29. “One year down, a lifetime to go!!”
