The Late Show host Stephen Colbert ridiculed President Donald Trump for seeming unfazed when a man collapsed behind him during an Oval Office gathering.

Trump, 79, was filmed simply remaining in place as an attendee stumbled and fell at the event featuring pharmaceutical executives and government officials assembled for a press conference about a deal to reduce the costs of certain obesity medications.

Nevertheless, the incident appeared not to disturb the POTUS, who merely rose from his chair at the Resolute Desk and gazed silently toward the cameras with an emotionless expression while others rushed to lay the man flat on the floor.

Stephen, 61, displayed a photograph from the now-viral moment, which captured the Commander-in-Chief appearing blank-faced as officials scrambled to assist the fallen individual.

“Honestly, it was good to see everybody rushed to help him,” the television host remarked. “Well, almost everybody, because this photo has been going around. Take a look at this viral photo from after the fainting.”

Stephen elaborated, “Look at that. That-they got his legs up and everything. That picture is worth a thousand words, none of which I can say on CBS.”

He then joked with his audience, “As I said, the fella is OK, but I’m sure that was scary. But thankfully, the room was full of exactly who you want in a medical emergency… pharmaceutical executives. Quick, quick, someone maximize shareholder value!” The reason behind the man’s collapse remains unknown, but White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt issued a statement updating the public on his status.

“The White House medical unit quickly jumped into action, and the gentleman is okay,” Leavitt said in a statement. Trump resumed the Oval Office event roughly an hour following the incident on Thursday, confirming the individual was “fine.”

The Irish Star had reported just moments earlier that Trump had announced a groundbreaking deal with Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk designed to provide specific obesity treatments, including Wegovy and Zepbound, to Americans for just $150 monthly.

Health Secretary RFK Jr. and delegates from multiple pharmaceutical corporations joined him in the Oval Office Thursday to reveal this significant development.

The arrangement will enable widely-used weight-loss drugs to be purchased for $149 via the TrumpRX website, a direct prescription service established by the president for medication sales, according to sources who briefed The Washington Post.
