For a little over a week, people in Brevard County have stopped by one of the busiest cruise ports in the world to get a peek at the Disney Destiny.

“Disney Cruise Line boasts imaginative details that will thrill children and charm adults, with its thoughtful blend of beloved characters, lively deck parties, show-stopping musical performances and themed kids’ clubs packed with activities,” the Palm Beach Post, part of the a USA TODAY Network, reported June 2025.
Inspired by the timeless theme of heroes and villains, the 4,000-passenger ship features a grand hall inspired by Marvel’s “Black Panther” films. Passengers will also enjoy a “Lion King”-themed musical dining experience and a stage production based on Disney’s ‘90s animated film “Hercules.”

When does Disney Destiny cruise ship sail and from which Florida port?
The company’s newest Wish-class vessel, Disney Destiny, will make its debut in November 2025 — first sailing is Nov. 20 — from Port Everglades in Florida, with itineraries to the Bahamas and the Caribbean.
