The Film Awards will take place on Jan. 3 at the Palm Springs Convention Center, while the festival will run Jan. 2 to Jan. 13.
In Sinners, Jordan plays twin brothers Smoke and Stack, who return to their hometown of Clarksdale, Mississippi, to open a juke joint. But their opening night is soon derailed by an evil presence. Ryan Coogler wrote and directed the film that also stars Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Miles Caton, Jayme Lawson, Omar Miller and Delroy Lindo.
