BRISTOL — Elkhart Civic Theatre presents the Stephen Sondheim musical “Merrily We Roll Along” from Nov. 14 to Nov. 23 at the Bristol Opera House, 210 E. Vistula St.

“Merrily We Roll Along” tells the story of three friends — composer Franklin Shepard, playwright Charley Kringas and writer/journalist Mary Flynn — as their careers and personal lives change over 20 years, leading to their estrangement, according to a press release.

The plot unfolds in reverse chronological order, starting in 1976 and moving backward to their beginnings as young artists in New York City in 1957.
