Patrick Duffy became a household name worldwide after rising to fame for his iconic portrayal of oil tycoon Bobby Ewing in the hit 1970s CBS series, Dallas. The actor appeared in the captivating show for more than 320 episodes before his character met a tragic end in 1985.
While his career slowed down in 2016, Duffy has made headlines once again for his appearance, but this time it’s because of how unrecognizable he looks. Though he still flashes his signature charming smile, the 76-year-old, who previously had a thick head of dark brown hair, now displays white hair styled in a slicked-back look rather than the full and bouncy appearance he was famous for.
Duffy appears to have transformed himself and achieved significant professional successes after stepping away from the limelight and diving into the bread industry.
Standing beside his girlfriend, Linda Purl, the pair put on an affectionate show as they proudly stood together in an American grocery store, now carrying his bread brand, Duffy’s Dough.
In a recent Instagram post, the couple celebrated the brand’s launch in Kroger locations and wrote in the caption, “From our garage to this.”, reports the Express.

Duffy’s Dough additionally offers DIY dehydrated sourdough starter kits for customers who prefer to bake bread at home. The star of Bobby Ewing previously shared about finding love again after his wife of 41 years, Carlyn Rosser, passed away from cancer in 2017.
He mentioned that Linda was an old friend and they reconnected through video calls during the COVID-19 pandemic, with sparks flying when they finally met in person.
Since this is Duffy’s first and only relationship since Carly’s passing, the actor discussed life after the devastating loss and told People, “When [happiness is] offered, think about it, do whatever you do, but don’t let it pass you up if it’s the right thing.
“I never thought for a minute this would happen again. I never thought I’d feel this way again.”
