Keith Urban has popped up on social media for the first time since news of his divorce from Nicole Kidman was made public.
The 58-year-old Australian country crooner made his Instagram comeback on Sunday, November 16 — almost two months after his last post — with pal Blake Shelton, for a video in which they reminisced on their respective “awkward” style choices.
The country singers were promoting their new reality show The Road in which musicians compete to become Urban’s opening act. Shelton serves as executive producer.
“You know you learn a lot when you’ve been on the road for more than a few years … especially when it comes to your hair … right Blake Shelton?” read the caption on the post.
It’s the first time that Urban has spoken out on social media — his last post is dated September 26 — following news that he and Kidman, 58, are splitting up. As Globe previously reported, Kidman filed for divorce on September 30, citing “irreconcilable differences” after 19 years of marriage.

Urban and Kidman share daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. Kidman shares two other children, Bella, 32, and Connor, 30, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
It’s been publicly speculated that Urban had rebounded with guitar player Maggie Baugh, who had previously played with the singer on his High and Alive World Tour. However, neither Baugh or Urban have publicly addressed the affair rumors.
According to the Daily Mail, during the first episode of The Road, Urban admitted he was homesick on tour.
“When you wake up on a tour bus at 3:30 in the morning, sick as a dog, in the middle of nowhere, and you’ve got to play your fifth show that night … missing your friends, your family, completely lonely and miserable,” Urban said, according to the outlet.
