Marjorie Taylor Greene was apparently a no-show for an interview with Piers Morgan.
Morgan posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, calling out the Georgia representative, writing, “Why did you just cancel our interview at the last minute @mtgreenee?” It’s unclear whether the interview was scheduled to be live or pre-recorded for Morgan’s show, Piers Uncensored.
As of publication, Greene has not responded to Morgan’s query. The politician appears to have other things on her mind, as she was recently shunned by Donald Trump for opposing some of his policies.
Trump referred to Greene as “Marjorie Traitor Greene” for her actions, including speaking out against the sexism in the Republican party and saying “powerful men are being protected” in reference to the sealed Epstein files.
While Greene seemed to ignore Morgan’s interview request, the 51-year-old did partake in an interview on celebrity.land.
Greene continued, “I now have a small understanding of the fear and pressure the women, who are victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his cabal, must feel.”
The politician also claimed that texts she sent to Trump about the Epstein files “sent him over the edge.”
While appearing on The View earlier this month, Greene spoke of her support of unsealing the Epstein documents and advocated for survivors of sexual exploitation.
“Men or women who are in some sort of sexual abuse situation,” she said. “What does the government say to them if they will not release the information on the most famous convicted pedophile in history? What is that message back? It’s horrendous.”
