After winning the Latin Grammy for Song of the Year, Karol G is back with new music! On Nov. 17, the Colombian superstar teased a new song with hit record producer Tainy, called “ÚNICA.” The new collaboration will be released on Thursday (Nov. 20).
“ÚNICA @tainy 🪡 20/11/25,” she wrote online with a video. The short teaser showcases Karol talking about a short-lived love story that lasts a lifetime. “We indulged in a life we should never have had. There was no future, but there was truth,” she said in Spanish. “In that silence after we made love, I understood that some loves only last for one night, but they remain with you forever.” The Mañana Será Bonito singer is shown with long hair down to the floor, in a white, layered dress, alone in a grass field. Another clip shows her staring at the sea. There is also a soft acoustic guitar playing in the background.
The Puerto Rican record producer and songwriter also posted about the upcoming joint track on his Instagram. Tainy wrote: “‘ÚNICA’ @karolg 11/20/25 ARTWORK BY YOSHITAKA AMANO @yoshitaka_amano.” The post includes a portrait of a woman with long fiery hair, with low green eyes, and red lips.
Social media users have high hopes about the upcoming collaboration. An X user wrote: “Tainy produced Feid’s best song in the last two years, and now he’s going to do the same with Karol G. Un distinto.” Another X user commented: “I hope Tainy makes a Karol G song that isn’t skippable.”
This highly anticipated collaboration marks Tainy’s second track from his upcoming sophomore album.
