The holiday season is here, and silver bells are ringing, the cattle are lowing, and many venues are offering concerts to help brighten your holiday spirits.
Concerts for the weeks of Nov. 17 to 30, 2025:
CHRISTMAS CONCERT — The Marshall County Church Orchestra will present a Christmas concert at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20 at The REES, 100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. The evening will feature a blend of traditional carols, sacred Christmas favorites and uplifting holiday music perfect for families and music lovers of all ages. Admission is $15. Tickets may be purchased online at reestheatre.org, through the Everwise Box Office at The REES, or at Na Rie Simple Treasures, 104 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
The Vesper Chorale and Chamber Orchestra will perform at a concert held at Kern Road Mennonite Church, 18211 Kern Road in South Bend.
VESPER CHORALE — Experience an afternoon of profound beauty as Vesper Chorale and Vesper Chamber Orchestra unite to present Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem. This work from Brahms is a comforting embrace — focused on the living who mourn. Complementing this journey is Eleanor Daley’s “In Remembrance” and Jessie Montgomery’s “Starburst.” Let your heart be lifted by melodies that heal, comfort, and endure.
This concert is sponsored in memory of Clement L. and Rose M. Spychalski by their children.
The concert will be held at Kern Road Mennonite Church, 18211 Kern Road, South Bend, at 3 p.m. Nov. 23 with a pre-concert lecture at 2:30 p.m. A free reception will follow the concert.
Tickets are adults, $25; seniors, $20; children/students, $5. Purchase online at musicalartsindiana.org or at the door on the day of the concert. A pay-what-you-can preview will be at 3 p.m. Nov. 22 with no tickets required.
10th ANNIVERSARY CONCERT — The Open Fifths are celebrating their 10th anniversary with a concert at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 24 at College Mennonite Church, 1900 S. Main St., Goshen. The Open Fifths is a tenor-bass choir based in Goshen and they sing a variety of music. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Fables Books, 215 S. Main St., Goshen, for $10 or $5 for students. Tickets at the door will be $15/$7.

THE BERGAMOT: A SOUTH SHORE CHRISTMAS — The Bergamot return home for a Christmas tradition. This beloved annual celebration has Nathaniel Paul Hoff and Jillian Speece — joined by their band — sharing harmonies, stories, timeless Christmas classics and fan-favorite originals that capture the spirit of the season. Kick off the Christmas season right! The concert will be at the Morris Performing Arts Center, 211 N. Michigan St., South Bend at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 28. Tickets are $92.75-$36.25 and can be purchased online at morriscenter.org, at the Box Office, or by phone at 574-235-9190.
RUTHMERE FALL CONCERT SERIES: NICHOLAS ROTH — This final concert of the 2025 Fall series will feature pianist and Elkhart native Nicholas Roth at 7 p.m. Nov. 28 in Ruthmere’s Game Room. Single concert non-member tickets are $50 and $20 for members. To make a reservation, call Ruthmere at 574-264-0330, ext. 104, or purchase online at ruthmere.org/Fall-Concert-Series. Seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Pianist Nicholas Roth will perform at 7 p.m. Nov. 28, 2025, as the final concert in the 2025 Ruthmere Fall Concert Series.
