In the lead-up to their much-awaited grand year-end concert next week.
On Thursday, November 20 the Nation’s Girl Group, BINI, officially unveiled their latest full-length studio album entitled FLAMES.
Simultaneously, the music video for their song Sweet Tooth was also published onto video-sharing platform YouTube.
According to the description provided by the group, “‘Sweet Tooth’ is a shimmering, slow-burn pop song with a deceptively soft exterior.“
It added, “Equal parts tender and addictive, the song turns desire into a metaphor for sugar, with lines that confess a compulsive need for more. Just like candy, there can be too much of a good thing, especially when you know it’s not good for you. But unlike this song, this guilty-free pleasure will keep you listening over and over again.”
their pre-release single titled Paruparo, which is one of the tracks included in their forthcoming studio album, FLAMES.
The said song, according to the official description provided by their label Star Music is an “anthem of growth, transformation, and freedom.”
“It shows the journey of life through the metaphor of a butterfly learning to fly; starting through the cocoon of struggles and uncertainty then, by keeping faith, slowly gaining their beautiful wings of confidence, strength, and purpose and finally, soaring freely through the sky of their fulfilled dreams,” the company added.
Through the song, the girl group also hopes to inspire listeners to overcome their fears and doubts, to never give up on their hopes and ambitions, and to “trust the process,” believing in the beauty of who they were always meant to be.
Prior to the album drop, the pre-release single Paru-Paro was launched last November 6. Meanwhile, other tracks confirmed to be part of the upcoming studio album are the Katabi, Infinity, and Bikini.
The album also follows their recent string of singles, which include the tour single Shagidi and First Luv, which was released last October 2.
Moreover, FLAMES will also come out more than a week before their scheduled Philippine Arena comeback with their BINIfied concert scheduled on November 29.
After that, the girl group will also headline the Wonderful Moments Music Festival this December, where they join the list of performers that includes Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo, Ely Buendia, and Cup Of Joe, among many others.
