The “Bandaids” singer and Canada’s former prime minister first sparked romance rumors when they were spotted hanging out at Montreal’s Mount Royal Park in July. Now, they’re looking ahead to the festive season—and moving toward a new relationship milestone, according to People.
On November 20, a source close to Perry told the outlet that the pair is “making plans for the holidays.” It would be their first time spending the time together.
The insider added that Perry is “looking forward” to finishing her Lifetimes Tour: “Without exaggeration, this year has been a whirlwind for her. She hasn’t even had time to really think about her life after the tour.”
Following her split from Orlando Bloom earlier this year, the pop star has been balancing a busy work schedule with raising her 5-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, whom she shares with the actor. “She’s a single mom now and a lot of that is going to come into focus next year,” the source said.
The same source also told People on November 19 that Perry “has a lot of fun with” Trudeau, adding, “It’s exactly what she needs right now.”
