The British Independent Film Awards have revealed this year’s winners in their craft categories, including “Warfare,” “Pillion” and “Die My Love.”
Adding onto its previously announced BIFA win for best ensemble, “Warfare” is taking home awards for editing for Fin Oates; effects for Simon Stanley-Clamp and Ryan Conde; and sound for Glenn Freemantle, Mitch Low, Howard Bargroff, Ben Barker and Richard Spoone.

“Warfare” topped the craft winners’ list, with Lynne Ramsay’s “Die My Love” and Harry Lighton’s feature debut “Pillion” following with two awards each. “Die My Love,” a psychological drama starring Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson, won best cinematography for Seamus McGarvey and music supervision for Raife Burchell and Ian Neil. Meanwhile, “Pillion” — a kinky rom-com following the ups and downs of a relationship between two very different men played by Alexander Skarsgard and Harry Melling — took home best costume design for Grace Snell and the make-up and hair design award for Diandra Ferreira.
Other winners include “The Ballad of Wallis Island,” “Harvest” and “I Swear.” The rest of this year’s BIFA winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony at London’s Roundhouse on Nov. 30.
