According to an insider, the deletion of these pictures actually reflected a more significant problem brewing behind closed doors.
The insider revealed that Harry and Meghan grew concerned their attendance at the party could be misinterpreted, particularly given Harry’s ongoing attempts to mend his bond with King Charles III. The scheduling also sparked concern, as Kris’ birthday festivities extended into the morning of November 9, the date the U.K. observes Remembrance Day.
Meghan’s absence of the traditional poppy also drew scrutiny on social media. “Once Harry and Meghan left Kris, it dawned on them that they had a major PR headache on their hands,” the source tells Star. The couple subsequently asked Kim and Kris to remove the images from their Instagram accounts.
